Half a year without any entries on this page ... why's that? Well, Mrs. Novik is keeping rather silent as well at the moment. The only thing to note was the publication of the anthology "Fast Ships, Black Sails", which is all about pirates and contains one short story of Naomi Novik which has nothing to do with the Temeraire-universe, as far as I know. One can only hope that news are so scarce due to the author being busy with writing the sixth novel. ;-)

For the German readers the publication of the fifth book of the series, "Drachenwacht" (= "Dragon Watch"), draws ever closer.  One can already take a look at the book's cover, which tries to stay true to the style of the series - not like the (still beautifully produced) first edition of "Victory of Eagles".
