Two weeks ago I wrote about the Suvudu Cage Match where Temeraire is one of the contestants. And he really made it to the quarter finals! Only now he has to face Jaime Lannister or rather George R. R. Martins dreaded fan base, which - due to an excellent essay by the author - even managed to kick mighty Cthulhu out of the race.

Well, Naomi Novik knows about Martins (rightfully) huge fan base and now has written her own hilarious short story about how Temeraire and Jaime could meet on even grounds. That alone should be enough to assure victory for Temeraire, shouldn't it?
